When you let go of your TOTGA in Tim Pavinos’s new track “We Were 16”

Tim Pavino, a male vocalist, retells the romantic recollections of a wayward young love in his new track “We Were 16,” which was released by ABS-Star CBN’s Music.

“The song speaks about a point in your life when you let go of your TOTGA (the one who got away) and start reminiscing about the lovely memories as you go along in life,” Tim stated.

The lively piece with a catchy melody paradoxically highlights the sad echoes of a person’s what-ifs and the hope that the lost love might be revived one day.

“I hope it can be a reminder that no matter what happens, good or bad, there is always something special to look back on and be thankful for,” he added.

“We Were 16” was written and composed by Tim and ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo, who also produced the song with Theo Martel serving as its arranger.

Meanwhile, the official music video of the track has also been released, which shows Tim driving to a beach, where he strolls the shores lightheartedly while inhaling and savoring the salty breeze of the sea.

Last June, Tim dropped the single “No More You and I,” a sentimental ‘90s slow jam-inspired track about the inevitable end of a relationship.
