Are you a nature-loving traveler? Would you like to visit Bali but can’t afford it? Do you enjoy taking your dog on vacations? Oh yes! We found a place for you, your friends and family, as well as your pets. My family and I went to Tagaytay last May 14. I go online to see which resorts allow pets, and of course I’m searching for a better and more affordable one. I found this place called Terrace Hill Resorts, and I messaged them on Facebook and Instagram, and they responded quite fast to my questions. I said that I was seeking for a resort that could accommodate five people, two children, and one dog. They recommend Casitas Espresso, which has a capacity of 6 to 8 pax and costs P5,500 per night plus an extra P500 each pax beyond 6.
Casitas Espresso
1 bedroom with air conditioning, 2 double beds and a television with Netflix
-Living room with two sofa beds
-Areas for dining and cooking (gas stove, ref, casserole, frying pan, kettle & 1 gallon of mineral water)
-toilet & bathroom with showers (hot and cold) (6 towels & toiletries)
We take P2P buses from Ayala Malls Circuit to Nuvali Ayala Malls Solenad going to Tagaytay. You can follow Nuvali’s social media accounts for updates and changes on the P2P bus schedule. For inquiries and other concern, you may call TAS Trans Corp (02)8-8728497. After arriving at Nuvali Terminal, we take three further trips going to Ayala Malls Serin, two jeepneys and one tricycle. We got our food and other necessities in Serin and had lunch there because we arrived in Tagaytay at 12 noon. Then we took a tricycle to the resort, which cost 200 each trike. In Tagaytay, a tricycle can carry up to six people, including the driver. We arrived at the resort at 2 p.m., right on time for check-in.
On the second day, due to a power outage and an issue with the air conditioning, they transferred us to a bigger space at Villa Barako at no additional expense.
Villa Barako
7,000/night per room (good for 8 pax)
*in excess of 8 Pax, additional P500/pax
