I really saw what he is trying to do, For young entrepreneurs and young businessmen, this book really helps a lot,” said singer-actor James Reid while describing how author Mon Abrea and his book on taxation titled “Iwas BUWIS-it” is impacting the lives of those who have started to pursue businesses.
Inspired by casual-style magazines, “Iwas Buwis-it” discusses the taxes a person is subjected to throughout his life. The book covers a variety of common experiences such as career choices, starting a business, giving gifts, and many more.
Philippine tax whiz Mon Abrea is the newly appointed co-chair of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Task Force on Paying Taxes and the founding chairman of the Asian Consulting Group (ACG).
Abrea said “the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenu
e) has recognized James as one of the top celebrity taxpayers. Soon, he will try to help the bureau to educate the public kasi iba ‘yong James as a celebrity, artist and as a musician.”
