“Mas napapansin ‘yung taas, di ba?” “Hindi niyo alam na yung mga nasa baba, supporting actors, sila yung nagpapaangat sa bida,” Dion Ignacio said as he broke down in tears during the 3rd Gintong Parangal press conference, which was held last Saturday, July 16, at LAFPS DINER in Quezon City.

When asked about being described to as Dingdong Dantes‘ twin or alternate, Dion Ignacio replied, “Unang-una si Kuya Dingdong, isa sa mga idol ko rin nga, e! ‘Uy, para kang si Dingdong, ah! kaya natutuwa ako! ’ “Parang medyo kinikilig ako.”
Ignacio joined StarStruck and started his career in the Philippine entertainment industry in 2003. He is one of the StarStruck Avengers. Ignacio continues to display his guitar skills as the bassist of the All Star Band, in a movie, and on television despite not winning the Ultimate Survivor title. He played a range of roles in numerous series, including villain, lead, and supporting. Gintong Parangal would mark Dion’s first-ever award.

Actor-director Ricky Davao, entertainment editor Dinah Ventura, and veteran character actor Dindo Arroyo, who will get his first award after 32 years in the entertainment industry, are among the other awardees in attendance at the 3rd Gintong Parangal press conference.
When notified that he would be receiving an award, Dindo Arroyo remarked, “Wow, pinansin na rin kami!” Usually, puro citation lang papunta sa nomination, hindi natutuloy to get an award, very first time.”
As for the award, actor and director Ricky Davao stated, “It’s a badge reminding you that you have to do your job well and to be a role model.”
Dinah Sabal Ventura expressed her gratitude for the award by saying, “Thank you for this award. I didn’t expect to be nominated, let alone to get an award for my work, but it’s very much appreciated. “
