“We recently had our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at AMG Bahay Silungan Inc, a shelter for those children who were victims of child abuse and exploitation,” as stated by Dr. Ronnel Ybañez, Chairman of Chunnel and Channel Realty and President of Asia’s Golden Icons Awards. “Thank you for selling with C&C Realty; please know that as you are selling with C&C you are also helping unfortunate children,” he said.
Celebrities, media partners, and program contributors like GLUO Pharmacy Association, Queen Grace Koh League of United Queens International Association Inc., Pascual Consumer Health Care Laboratory (PCHC), Unilab Pediatric Inc. in collaboration with Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development, and Asia’s Golden Icons Awards participated the CSR last July 19, 2022 in Alfonso, Cavite.
Dr. Ronnel Ybañez and Asia’s Golden Icons Awards graciously provide assistance to the children of AMG Bahay Silungan, Inc., an organization that is non-profit and is devoted to helping children who have suffered abuse and exploitation. According to Ybañez, “We are not born just to earn a living, but to make a difference in the lives of others, no matter how big or small it is.”
As of today, 33 children, ranging in age from 4 to 17 years old, are under the care of AMG Bahay Silungan. These are the kids who have been abused, neglected, or exploited. They are caring for children’s education, food, shelter, and medical needs.
One of Asia’s Golden Icons awardees, comedian-singer-actor Atak Araña, spoke at the charity event and revealed that he had also been abused as a child. “Totoo, may trauma! Kaya lang ako, destiny ko talaga pumunta ng maynila at maging ganito, dati kasi marunong na ako mag handle ng mga problema,” he said.
