Tagaytay Staycation l Hotel Carlito l What to do?

Have you ever asked what to do on a 3-day vacation and where to go?

Far South of Manila is a popular tourist destination, Tagaytay. The crest of Taal Volcano Island, an active volcano surrounded by Taal Lake  known for its mild climate. with a view of the city.

 I know it is daunting challenge to pick hotel where you can stay.  And for us we prefer the most up-to-date hotel room services and amenities within our budget. And the only purpose is to rest and relax.

We stayed for 3 days and nights at “Hotel Carlito,Tagaytay”. This hotel provides the privilege of living the European life and views over the lake Taal at a very inexpensive rate. They also have a European-style café with a range of snacks, pastries and coffee. There are a total of 22 rooms each showcasing various countries in Europe.days a

The hotel staff are welcoming and made guests feel relaxed and safe. Hotel Carlito is located one minute away from Olivarez Plaza on the Tagaytay-Calamba Route. McDonald’s are his closest landmarks  (in front of Hotel Carlito).

What are the top attractions to visit in Tagaytay?  I would encourage you  to visit the Instagramable Café in the South “The Ruined Project”  It’s great for dates with coffee, brunch and lunch with family.  It’s good chilling spot while getting positive vibes. “The Ruined Project” is located at the Villar Group’s luxury development, Crosswinds in Tagaytay.  We also Visited Picnic Grove Park where you can enjoy view of Taal Lake and experienced the intimate atmosphere. Everyone will enjoy cycling, cable car, Eco-trail and zipline.

We also explore the gastronomic delights of Tagaytay. As we came to dinner, it was foggy at “Mer-Ben Tapsilogan sa Tagaytay” giving us the cool air we pine for. We ordered the famous bulalo,  crispy tawilis, pork sisig and ensaladang mangga. For lunch on our last day we went to Balay Dako by Antonio’s and enjoyed the Kasim , Kare-Kare, Lechon Kawali and of course ensaladang mangga. 

To get you  more excited with your staycation, Milk Teas can also be  found  in  Tagaytay  with  impressive  views.  Macao Imperial tea is located at Rotonda crossing in Tagaytay, stroll along the road for 3-5 minutes (Tagaytay Calamba Rd.). The café is only few minutes down from our hotel.

COVID-19 continues to have worldwide effect and once you’re in  Tagaytay make  sure you follow the  following  safety protocols:  Businesses in the city have been ordered  to comply with the protocols on health and safety.  Tagaytay directs restaurants to be closed at 10 p.m.
