Mike Liwag returns to theater in Teatro Tomasino virtual play”Kung Paano Maghiwalay”

“Acting related wala akong pinipili, mas gusto ko lang ang disiplina sa theater said Mike Liwag, a filipino actor who has appeared on different films, shows and stage plays.  In 2019, he has made an important contribution to the historic drama film “Culión” which was directed by Alvin Yapan, stars Iza Calzado, Joem Bascon and Meryll Soriano. He played the role of “Jaime” and the love interest of Jasmine Curtis-Smith.  Liwag played also a defiant role in raising awareness of HIV/AIDS at PETA’s 52nd Theater Season Finale “Under My Skin”. He was nominated for the 2020 Aliw Awards “Best Lead Actor in a Play” with Liwag’s exquisite performance.

He is also delighted to unlock the love in a romantic gay short film as Brix in“Unlocked”. A film made through the pandemic by Adolfo B. Alix Jr with co actor Markki Stroem.

As a big part of his success, Liwag returns to Teatro Tomasino to share the stage with Asian Academy Creative Awards Best Actor “Arjo Atayde” in iWant’s “Bagman” series. Also guest artists Ria Atayde and Teri Malvar are both part of Teatro Tomasino virtual play “Kung Paano Maghiwalay”
