Enzo Santiago is inarguably the Philippines’ “Universal BL Leading Man”

Anthony Lorenz S. Dazer, nicknamed Enzo Santiago is an actor born in Quezon City but raised in Antipolo City .A typical 20-year-old student who enjoys basketball, going to the gym, streaming, playing computer games and also loves riding motorcycles.

My show biz career began as a background talent of a TV show in 2016. At that time I think my talent fee was just 500 pesos, he recalls. A friend who was also doing extras and side roles invited me. I initially deferred because I was interested in school and practicing as a varsity athlete for my school. But, after having the chance to try, I fell in love with acting and decided to pursue it, says Enzo.

‘Since I was a kid, I’ve been a huge movie buff. I recall telling my father that I wanted to be in a movie one day. I had no idea God would grant my childhood wishes’ Enzo reveals.

What is your dream role? Enzo simply smiles at the thought and replies “Oh I would love to portray action/historical movie roles. Our country is steeped in tradition, and there are many ideas that could be applied to the film industry. I wish I could be a part of that someday!”

Santiago has appeared in a number of films and TV series, Young Love (A Trilogy of Love Stories 2018) , The Prodigal Prince (2018).  After starring in the 2020 BL series “My ExtraOrdinary” ( costar Darwin Yu)  his first Boy Love series that gained great appeal among his Filipino fans. In 2021, He introduces a different BL series “Meet my Angel” as a part of his popular demand in the BL World.  Boy Love series (also known as BL)  focus on the relationship between two male characters. These novels are becoming more common, and they will become the norm in the future. Enzo will will undoubtedly fascinate and make you fall in love with his BL dramas and with his brilliant acting that dazzles all BL fans, It’s no wonder that he’s the “Universal BL Leading Man

Despite the Pandemic, “It’s been a year of gratitude” he says, because he was lucky enough to be offered a project and a drama series to work on. He’ll be coming out with a new drama this April with the creators of the famous Pinoy BL series “In Between” and “My Extraordinary.” Enzo will play ‘Markie Asuncion” in the series “Weekend to Remember,” which is proudly presented by Wheel of Love under Asterisk Entertainment. Weekend to Remember is a story about sibling rivalry and family conflict. Written by two of the top caliber teleserye writers of ABS-CBN Jaymar Castro and Jaja Amarillo and Directed by Jolo Atienza. The pilot episode will premiere on AsterisK Entertainment’s Youtube channel on April 18, 2021 at 7 p.m.
